Greg Blatt has worn many executive hats durning his career. Some of these include being the former CEO and Chairman of the Match Group, Tinder, and IAC companies. He started his carrer after graduating from Columbia Law School in New York. Mr Blatt started as an associate of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen and Katz from 1995 to 1997. He then served as an associate of Grubman, Indursky, and Schindler PC from 1997 through May of 1999. He attributes these years as being where he developed his strong work ethic.
Greg Blatt has served as Executive Vice President of Business Affairs, General Counsel and Secretary for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc. He oversaw the company’s legal and transactional activities while there. He worked in various others roles as well for the copany through November 2003.
In traditional Greg Blatt style, he likes to remain open to any and every opportunity presented to him. He was excited when the opportunity arose to become the Executive Vice President of IAC and its family of companies. Other companies owned by IAC are Match Group and Tinder. Mr Blatt has served not only as CEO for IAC but has also held many other executive roles within the family of companies. This includes being the Executive Chairman for the Match Group.
Throughout Greg Blatts extensive career, he accredits his strong leadership skills to one trait, inquisitiveness. He believes it is importand for people to not only follow their dreams but to always ask yourself, why. He thinks that asking yourself this one question will help to spur innovation and creativity.
